Empty garage

It is odd to write these words: There is not a boat in my garage.  Way back in May of 2011 I deposited the blue Ski Nautique into my garage. On August 1, 2013, the boat rolled out of my garage and off to a shop my cousin owns to have the seats re-skinned and installed. I worked like crazy for a few days to make this happen, and I’m grateful to my father’s help in hooking up the boat and towing it to the shop.

Here are my registration numbers. I think they look great! Huge thank you to Marty Mabe for all the help with stickers, decals, and the like!

This next photo really is a book-end of sorts. What you’ll see below is a photo I took the first good (not raining) day I owned the boat. It was taken on May 21, 2011. It is sitting on a trailer I had to return and all the work I have done in the last two-plus years was sitting in front of me. The second photo was taken on August 1, 2013 as the boat gets ready to go to a shop where the seats and carpet will be installed, sitting on a trailer I have also restored. What a journey.
